Unpacking 31 Verses to Live By – Day 17
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he promised is faithful.
Beloved, have you ever held onto something so tight because it is true? We can hold onto the truth of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. We read about Jesus throughout the Old and the New Testament.
Jesus Christ is faithful. We can hold onto the truth about Him. Each Old Testament Prophecy about Jesus has been fulfilled except for the second coming of Jesus. How many of the prophecies do you know Jesus has fulfilled. He who is promised is faithful. Jesus is faithful. This chapter in Hebrews is about the sacrifice of Jesus. We do not have to defend our stance on the truth. Jesus is the one and only son of God. Additionally, He is why we have eternal life.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
So hold fast sweet friend, to the truth and trust in the Lord.
Father God, thank you for Jesus. In Jesus’s name. Amen
