Unwrapping the Names of Jesus – Day 28
Beloved, I read a book once by Stormie Omartian, “Just Enough Light For The Step I’m On,” the book shared my thoughts of one foot in front of the other, do not borrow troubles, focusing on the task at hand, the bottom line is Jesus is our “LIGHT.”
The Light was the first thing the triune God created. Without Light, where would we be? I can tell you right now, and we would be stubbing our toes a lot.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1:3.
More importantly, Jesus is the Light of the world.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12.
We do not think much about Light until we do not have electricity, many do not think about Jesus and His sacrificial love for us, but I do. Just as Mary pondered the things that happened to her at the birth of Jesus, I often consider the depth of Jesus’s love. Daily, I share Jesus. I share the LIGHT.
