When I Saw God’s Faithfulness

When I was in second grade is when my memories begin, I’m not sure why I don’t remember much before then. I would even go as far as to say the memories I’ve remembered before are from stories I was told. We were living in Dodge City, Kansas we had moved from Oklahoma and Texas. I was so happy in Dodge City, Kansas. I had friends and my church family.

When I was a freshman in junior high, yes junior high, we moved to California. When we moved I left all that I knew and loved. I was sad until I met my friend Echo. Then I met my first love, and then I met my husband.

I’ve lived in California since 1967 until June of 2017 when we moved to Oklahoma to take care of my dad, then when he passed away, we moved back to California until September 22 of this year when we left everything I love, my friends, my sons, my grandchildren, and my church family to move to Mansfield, Missouri.

When we don’t see why God is still faithful. When we don’t know what the plan is God is still present. When we don’t understand God is still good.

I asked Jesus to be my savior when I was eleven-years-old. I’ve served him the majority of my life. When I struggle, I can depend on God to meet my needs. When I ask the hard questions I can depend on Him to answer me even if the answer is to wait.

Soon I will be able to say when I moved to Mansfield in September 2018, God’s plan of…….. was revealed.

Father God, thank you that my story of when includes you. So many milestones throughout the years. I’ve seen God’s faithfulness in all my when’s. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When have you seen God’s faithfulness?
