Who Am I?

Who am I? More importantly, who am I in the community that I live? Right at the moment, I am a stranger to everyone I meet. You see we just moved to a small community in Missouri, the town is called Mansfield. I don’t know my purpose yet being here but God gives each of a purpose. He says in His Word that we are his masterpiece in Ephesians 2:10.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

God says the work He began in me He will complete. We read this in Philippians 1:6.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a goodwork in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6.

Who am I? I am Betty and Troy’s daughter, I am Doug’s wife, I am Randy and Dale’s mom, I am Christian, Seth, Ethan, Hunter, Sabrina and Emerson’s grandma. But who am I at the depth of my core, I am God’s child. I asked Jesus to be my savior when I was eleven-years-old. I surrendered my life to be a missionary when I was 12. I let marriage and family get in my way of fulfilling that dream however in 1995, I went on my first missions trip. In 1998, I went on my second trip. Since that time, God has used me as a nurse three years in a row as a nurse at a retreat.

Today, I listened to a missionary getting ready to go to Russia. She reminded us that we are the hands and feet of Jesus. To be willing is how God uses us. Henry Blackaby says God is at work all around us and He invites us to join Him.

So who am I, I am a willing servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Father God, let me be of service, use me, complete the work you have begun in me. I am your daughter, the daughter of a King. Therefore, I am a princess. I pray for each woman reading this that she will know how special she is to You. I love you, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen

Who Are You? Will you claim who you are in Christ?
