Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Roman 12: 1-2
In view of God’s mercy, offer your bodies as a living sacrifice. What does this mean? To offer your body as a living sacrifice. Daily, we see God’s mercy in our lives. God calls us to be holy, pleasing and as we do this it is our true and proper worship. Have you ever thought of you offering your day to the Lord as an act of worship? The next part of the verse explains to not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Offering yourself asking God what what his will is? This is what is his good, pleasing, and perfect will. Beloved, will you transform your mind? Will you offer your self to God?
