31 Day Writings

30 Days of Thankfulness-Day 15

30 Days of Thankfulness-Day 15

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17. KJV.

“Whatever you do in word or deed,” do these things for Jesus. A famous saying that circulated, “What would Jesus do?” impacted our lives. Many of us had a bracelet “WWJD.”

Another verse that points to doing good for Jesus and God that has become my new life verse is 1 Corinthians 10:31

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31. KJV.

Beloved, how are you doing? We are fifteen days into writing a verse a day and fifteen days of being thankful. Has being thankful made a difference in your life. Are you grumbling less? Are you looking for opportunities to serve Jesus? Are you thanking God daily for the many blessings we have in our lives?

Trust

The song “Trust and Obey” says, “Trust and Obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.” Oh, my sweet friend, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your savior is the most crucial choice we make.  Then daily, as we walk with the Lord making prayer and reading our Bible a priority, we obey in Word and deed.

Obey

Today, I am thankful that I can live each day to the fullest and serve God doing this. I desire to honor God with my life. Will you join me in thanking God today for our very lives and the choices we make that honor God?

Father God, thank you for the Bible, for hymns, and for ministers that declare your Word. You gave us the Holy Spirit as a comforter, conductor, and counselor to lead and guide our lives. For all of the spiritual blessings I enjoy, thank you. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Which verse did you write? What are you thankful for that starts with the letters “O”?
