A Sense of Who You Are.

Do you have a sense of who you are? Sense is the word today. Sense is in the Bible two times, not found in the book of Psalm.

The definition of sense is a faculty by which the body perceives an external stimulus; one of the faculties of sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch or a feeling that something is the case.

Sense

Scripture

So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. Nehemiah 8:8.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:14.

That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 105:45

Psalm 105

Thoughts

I’ve a strong sense of who I am. That wasn’t always the case. I’ve struggled with disability and that made me question my worth. I struggled in my marriage and that made me question many things.

Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore, these are God’s words in Psalm 105:4.

Seeking the Lord, seeking his face help give us a strong sense of who we are.

The truth is we are God’s children. He is our Abba Father, our abba daddy. We are the apple of His eye.

Conclusion

Father God, I am in awe of you. You are the alpha the omega, the beginning the end. You make me a better person, you give me a sense of belonging. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Do you have a strong sense of who you are in the Lord?
