Good morning, beloved friends, as I finished the book, The God You May Not Know, by Dr David Jeremiah I had the opportunity to bless another friend. The first book went to a longtime friend who was traveling and visited me, this time, I blessed a young man, and I gave him the book and a Bible. How are you blessing your friends? Each one of you bless me by reading my blog.

All of a sudden last week, I ran out of time, so I was unable to read and write. I am in the midst of my study with Bible Study Fellowship, and the book of Romans is so compelling.
Romans 3:23 says, “For all of sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” This is the salvation message in a nutshell. We all need a savior, and God provided the way, through Jesus Christ.
Teaching
In the third book of this series, The Jesus You May Not Know, Dr. David Jeremiah opens the book to declare that Jesus is his Best Friend, Master and Mentor. He says, “Jesus is the mystery of the ages.” “The Almighty God whose throne is in heaven. The one who napped in a boat, preached in a synagogue, turned over the tables, healed the woman who touched the hem of his robe, and walked on water.”
He lists the names and titles such as the Alpha and the Omega, and the Anointed One. The Beloved Son and the Bright and Morning Star. He is the Carpenter from Nazareth and yet He is the Child of Glory. The Deliverer, and the Daystar from on High, The Everlasting Lord. The First and the Last, and the Faithful and True. The Great I Am, and the Good Shepherd, The High Priest and the Holy One of Israel. Immanuel–God with us.
Beloved, He is the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star. The Prince of Peace. Our Redeemer, The Son of God.

He is the radiance of God’s Glory. He is Jesus. A name above all name.
In Chapter 1, of The Jesus You May Not Know, Dr. Jeremiah explores Is He from History or From Eternity.
The definition of eternity is Eternity is time that never ends or has no limits, often described as the state of being eternal — without a beginning or an end Merriam Webster+1.
Beloved Jesus Dr. Jeremiah says, “He is from eternity past: He was with God in the beginning. Eternity in History: Jesus loves us.” The triune God always existed. In John 1: 3, “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made the was made.” Colossians 1:16 states, “By Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth.” God loves us and Jesus loves us.
Dr. Jeremiah says, “The Jesus who has loves us from eternity has also placed a desire for eternity in our hearts. Eternity in our hearts: Jesus longs for us. God created us with a longing for eternity. We long for eternal life but in reality, the minute we accept Jesus, we start our eternal life. Knowing Jesus Christ brings eternity to your heart, flooding every part of your life with enjoyment, enlargement and enrichment. Eternity in Heaven: Jesus lives for us. He prays for us and He is preparing a place for us.
Do you know Jesus? The day my daddy went home to heaven, he preached me a sermon about the room that Elijah was given to stay, and I think he was seeing his finished room in heaven.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14: 1-4
Remember, sweet one, He is building our room because eternal life has already begun. Does this give you peace, knowing you have a home in eternity?
But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:13
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know.
Dusty Road
This last week I met a man that delivered candy for a living. Can you image living with that kind of temptation? He said snickers was the best seller. I do love a good snicker bar. The interesting thing was he was so sweet. I shared a Bible verse with him and his wife. What is your favorite candy bar?
Conclusion
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know. More about Jesus in the weeks to come.
Father God, thank you for your son, Jesus. He is the exact representation of you. He is the radiance of your glory, the essence of your being. Lord, I pray for those who do not know you in the free pardon of sin. I pray for those struggling with health issues. I pray for those who need financial relief. I pray for those who are lonely. I pray for Becca and Riley who have taken in foster children. Lord, would you provide physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially to those who are reading my blog.
In Jesus’s name. Amen
