Good morning, beloved friends, a trip to the dentist early this morning to fix the cavity I had in my back tooth under my crown. To fix the tooth, my dentist had to numb my jaw, drill out the rotten area, medicate the gum, and seal the area so that I no longer have the pain.

Daily, we go to the Lord in prayer, and we seek him to guide us, to answer our daily questions and needs. This is our act of worship. Prayer is simply talking to God. Most days I write my prayers, following the word ACTS.
- Adoration
- Confession
- Thanksgiving
- Supplication

Why write the word of God? My question is why not? It only takes 15 to 39 minutes. You can do it on notebook paper or my favorite a composition book. The secret is to read the passage and then write the passage. If there are words you don’t know one can look them up. If you want to study the passage deeper=- look up the cross-referenced verses is often fun.
We can always observe what the passage is saying, apply the passage, and then pray the passage back to God.
Yesterday I started with Ephesians 1: 1-6,
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
To God’s holy people in Ephesus,[a] the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he[b] predestined us for adoption to son ship[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
What I observed was that Paul was an apostle of Christ Jesus because of the will of God. Another observation is that grace and peace are from God and Jesus. We are blessed from the heavenly realms with spiritual blessings from Christ. Jesus chose us before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless. In love we predestined for adoption through Jesus Christ.
To apply this- Who can I share my testimony that I am saved by Jesus Christ with today? What does it look like to live a holy and blameless life?
Prayer- Father God, thank you for all spiritual blessings in Christ. Thank you for choosing me before the creation of the earth to be your child to be holy and blameless. Thank you for sending your son to save us in the free gift of salvation. In Jesus’s name, Amen
Dusty Road
The dentist can fix a cavity, only God through Jesus Christ can fix sin. We have to ask Jesus to be our savior. and then we have the responsibility to grow and one way to grow in the likeness of Christ is to pray, to read the Bible and to write God’s word.
Conclusion:
Beloved, join me today and write out some scripture.
How will you apply today’s post?
