God whispers experience a super-duper relationship when you trust Jesus as your savior.

A life-changing book called Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby rocked my world in the 1990s.  Experience means to encounter or undergo (an event or occurrence). I read the book and worked through the workbook with two trusted friends.

Never will I forget the information shared in the workbook, but the most profound statement was, “God is at work all around you, and He invites you to join Him.”

Diana writes God whispers

Beloved, let this sink in, God is at work all around you, and He wants you to join Him.

God at work

Where have you seen God at work in your life? Do you have a super-duper relationship with God?

Words like spectacular, wonderful, awe-inspiring can be applied to your relationship because of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Romans 5: 1-5. KJV.

The night began like any other night, except I volunteered to work from 7:00 PM  until 7:00 AM. Called to a room of a patient suffering in pain, he needed Hospice to be called as he had a terminal cancer diagnosis. As a discharge planner, I would order this for him. So I went in to talk to him.

Conclusion,

Remember, God is at work all around us, so I asked the patient if he had faith. Yes, but he needed to be reassured. So I presented the salvation plan, and we prayed, and he asked Jesus to be his savior. Not only did he ask Jesus to be his savior, but he forgave his sister. I arranged for hospice and discharged him home. I never saw him again, but I will in heaven someday.

When we daily walk with God and join Him in living for Him, endless experiences are ours to share.

When was the last time you joined God?
