God whispers let’s energize our relationship with God in three ways.

God whispers, let’s energize our relationship with God in three ways.

When is your quiet time with God?  God whispers: energize your relationship with me. Do you struggle in your quiet time? Struggle with consistency? Struggle with early mornings? Struggle with staying alert? Struggle to understand the Bible?

God whispers: energize your relationship with me.

God whispers:energize your relationship with God.

Beloved, God loves you and does not want us to just exist. Three ways to energize your quiet time

“Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;” Deuteronomy 7:9. KJV.

Know

To energize your quiet time with God, one must know God.

The word know is in the Bible 1,291 times. We start learning from birth, and that knowledge serves us a lifetime, but the most important experience is knowledge of God. To energize your relationship with God, one must seek to know God better every day.

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10. KJV.

Seeking Him daily will energize your relationship with God.

“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” Psalm 9:10. KJV

God whispers, be still, and know I am God.

God whispers let's energize our relationship with God in three ways.

God whispers, energize your quiet time.

Faithful

God is faithful to each one of us. His grace is lavished upon us. Celebrate God daily by remembering His attributes.

He is faithful; He is the great I Am. He is God; He is creator, He sustains us. Great is His faithfulness. His mercy is new every morning.

“And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, IAm hath sent me unto you.” Exodus 3:14. KJV.

God whispers, I Am the Great I Am.

Worship

Lastly, the third way to energize your quiet time is to add worship to your quiet time. Start with praise, and end your time with thanksgiving. Gratitude will quickly usher you into the presence of God.

My morning often starts with me saying, “Alexa, play praise music!”

Worship energizes our relationship with God.

Conclusion

Three ways to energize your quiet time know God, celebrating his attributes, and worshiping God. Daily seeking God is the answer.

Beloved, so many ways to spice up your quiet time, like going on a prayer walk, writing a love letter to God, writing scripture, singing a hymn, lying on your face in your prayer closet.

The bottom line is to have a quiet time.

When do you have your quiet time?
