Will you join me in Praising God?

The word prompt is join and this was due yesterday. When I sat down to write there were no words for join, so I began to ponder the word join.

The definition of join as a verb is to link or connect. As a noun a place or line where two or more things are connected or fastened together like a joint of the hip, or knee.

Join is in the Bible 68 times.

Thoughts

Will you join me in praising God? When were some joyous occasions where you joined someone?

I think of my wedding when I joined my husband in marriage. I think of the times when I joined a church in membership.

The scripture says to not forsake the joining of an assembly. That means beloved that church attendance is important. Read with me in Hebrews.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25.

Praise is so important. When we take our eyes off our worries and praise God in the midst of our troubles, we can be thankful.

What can you praise God for today? Read Psalm 100.

This Psalm says to serve the Lord with gladness, to enter His court with praise. We need to be in church and we need to be aware of our fellow man and how we can help.

Conclusion

Father God, let me praise you everyday of my life. Thank you for giving us your son and I join you Father God in however you will work in my life. In Jesus name, Amen

Will you join me in praising God, He is Good, Faithful, and merciful.
